When reviewing his spiritual accomplishments, the Apostle Paul stated,” I once thought these things were valuable, but now I consider them worthless because of what Christ has done. Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the infinite value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have discarded everything else, counting it all as garbage, so that I could gain Christ and become one with him. Phil. 3:7-9

To know Christ is to target the things that were important to Him … loving sinners, serving them, and making a way for them to be with Him in eternity.

DAILY PRAYER: Forgive me Lord for valuing what I want rather than what You want. Break the hardness of my heart so I can be sensitive to the needs of those around me.
