As Christians, we are more aware of the nearness of the Lord’s return than others. Even though times may be frightening, we can have confidence in the keeping power of God.

To the Thessalonian church, Paul said, “Now may God himself, the God of peace, make you pure, belonging only to him. May your whole self—spirit, soul, and body—be kept safe and without fault when our Lord Jesus Christ comes. You can trust the One who calls you to do that for you.” (1 Thess. 5:23,24)

We can face these times with confidence in God.

DAILY PRAYER: Lord, thank You for your keeping power. I trust and rest in You, and commit all my loved ones to You.
