The Sabbath was created for rest.  It is a spiritual room we can enter where we cease from our stresses and allow the Lord to be our focus.

Jesus said, “Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”  He is so devoted to giving us this rest that He was even referred to as the Lord of the Sabbath.  The primary responsibility we have is to obediently “Come to Him.”

DAILY PRAYER:  Lord, I come to You today and I lay down all the cares of this life and just recline into You.  Thank You for Your care.
