Paul knew he would lose his life for the Lord’s purposes. He declared to the Ephesians, “I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. (Acts20:24)
Near the end of life, we can truly focus on the reasons for living that matter most to us. Regardless of where we find ourselves in life’s journey, it pays to ask ourselves, “What is my aim in life?” [If you aim at nothing, you will surely hit it]
DAILY PRAYER: Lord, help me to live with focus and purpose today.
