The Apostle Paul dedicated his life to the furtherance of the gospel.  As he saw God’s grace through the gospel reaching more and more people, he described his joy as a thanksgiving that overflowed to the glory of God.  (2 Cor. 4:15)

This he said in spite of the many trials and hardships of life he experienced.  He had his focus on his eternal home with the Lord.

Today, let’s allow thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God because we have an eternal hope and trust in the Lord’s exciting plans that await us in heaven.

DAILY PRAYER:  Lord, thank You.  We are so grateful for the abundant life You provide to us while we are yet on this earth.  Our hope is in You.
