Haman’s devious plan to have Mordecai and all Jews annihilated backfired upon him. Esther interceded in behalf of the Jews because of the favorable position God had granted her as queen to Xerxes. The tables were turned, the Jews were spared, and Haman was impaled upon the device he intended for Mordecai.
Never doubt God’s ability to preserve His loved ones.
“Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed … The One enthroned in heaven laughs … He rebukes them in his anger.” (Ps. 2)
DAILY PRAYER: Lord, thank You for showing us thru the lives of Esther and Mordecai that You hear our prayers when we desperately need Your protection and provision.
