King David’s son, Absalom, would have killed his father to take his job as king of Israel. David probably wrote the third Psalm while he was running for his life.

What challenge of life is threatening you?  Position yourself in faith as David did, and allow God to show you how secure you are in His arms of love.

There’s no place I’d rather be.

DAILY PRAYER:  Father, even though I’m being threatened by life’s challenges, I will trust in You to keep and defend me.  Lead me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.
