Ps. 22 prophetically describes some of the suffering Jesus endured as He accomplished His mission to redeem us from our sin. Isaiah said He was a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief. The writer of Hebrews identified Him as our Great High Priest Who was touched with the feeling of our infirmities.
Regardless of what we go through, Jesus understands. That’s why the mere mention of His name can bring the help of heaven in an instant.
He is a compassionate, loving Savior Who says, “Come unto Me, all ye who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matt. 11:28)
DAILY PRAYER: Thank You, Jesus, for understanding all about our problems. Lead us into paths of righteousness, for Your name’s sake.
