The Levites, the priests to God during the exodus from Egypt, were not to receive an inheritance or share of the lands.  God told them that He was their inheritance.

Do you want the house or the One Who owns ALL the houses?  Do you want a prosperous future, or the One Who spans all time?  Do you want money, or the One Who created the earth and put the gold in the ground?

As New Testament priests unto God, He is offering Himself to us as our share.

Just give me Jesus!
