Balak, king of Moab, hired Balaam to curse God’s people.  However, the Lord would not permit a curse to touch His people, regardless of how contrary they had become.  Balak persisted in his quest to destroy the Israelites, all with no success.

We have an enemy too. The devil constantly tries to destroy us and our faith in the Lord. His efforts bounce off because of God’s protective blessing over us.

We don’t have to walk around in any fear.  God’s angels watch over us.

DAILY PRAYER:  Father in Heaven, we trust in Your loving protection.  We hold our head high and proceed to serve You in the faith You have given to us.
