Because David was right with God, he experienced favor and success in unprecedented fashion.  The Bible says his presence was like “the light of morning at sunrise on a cloudless morning, like the brightness after rain that brings grass from the earth.”

This sounds like a description of Christ. The brightness of Jesus is seen through the lives of those who love Him and allow His glory to shine through them.
