Proverbs tells us that the generous man is a happy man.

As a young child in a large church, I vividly remember an older man known to all as “Brother Mansbridge.” He would always have a stick of Beemans chewing gum in his pocket for distribution to the children. It was always Beemans.  He had a glow on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He was a happy man. The children were happy too.

DAILY PRAYER: Lord, open our eyes to see opportunities to be generous to others. Build Your Kingdom through our generosity.
