Although “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof.” we also know that Satan has been cast out of Heaven and has taken abode in our earth. John says that “The whole world is under the control of the evil one.” [1 Jn. 5:19]

Jesus, when speaking to the Jews that opposed Him said, “You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires.” [John 8:44]

God protects those who belong to Christ. “The One who was born of God keeps (us) safe, and the evil one cannot harm (us).” [1 Jn. 5:18]

DAILY PRAYER: Lord, although we are in the world, we are not of this world. We belong to You and are here to preach the Gospel and do Your will. Protect us and empower us today to be Your representatives to an evil world.
