The story of Jacob is one of many births, both of children and of sheep. It seems that he was always having more children and more sheep. It was all in God’s plan. The twelve sons God blessed him with would later form the basis for the nation of Israel.

God has a destiny and purpose for children. They are His arrows that shoot out to hit targets of His making. We are blessed to be a part of His multiplication process.

DAILY PRAYER: Father in Heaven, use our children to  accomplish Your purposes. Keep them safe and make them productive and free from sin.
