Because we give our lives to the Lord, He assumes a father’s responsibility to keep us on the healthiest and most profitable path available. He brings correction to our lives when we are led away from this path. It’s for our ultimate good. He sees the end from the beginning.  We don’t.

“The Lord disciplines everyone he loves; he punishes everyone he accepts as a child.” [Heb. 12:6 ESV]

PRAYER: Father, we know You love us. We trust Your dealings in our lives to bring us to the completeness You desire of us. Keep Your hands upon us.
