All that we see will change. The heavens shall vanish like smoke, and the earth shall wear out like old clothes. But they that put their trust in the Lord shall be like Mt. Zion where God dwells in the hearts and lives of His people. They will be secure against whatever happens … all God’s promises to His earthly city, Jerusalem, are concurrent with His care for His people. Regardless of earth’s fate, God’s people will always be secure and eternally cared for by His providence.

Live in this confidence. Praise Him for it.

PRAYER: Father in Heaven, who are we that You would die for us and give all the precious promises and provisions. Your great love is unfathomable. We humbly return our praise and trust to You. Hallelujah!
