It’s nearly inconceivable the suffering and abuse Jesus suffered at the hands of the religious leaders and at the hands of his own disciples, Judas and Peter. The perfect example of love He displayed for them was not reciprocated. And yet, how do you think we’ve all treated Jesus? Our behavior certainly does not reflect the measure of sacrifice and commitment He made to atone for our sins.

No wonder the box of expensive ointment was poured upon Him … she realized what a depth of love she owed. Whomever has been forgiven much loves much.
