King Hezekiah was one of the most Godly kings of Judah. He nearly completely rid the people of idol worship, cleaning the temple and tearing down altars for worship of other gods. Yet, he was presented with one of the greatest challenges when the king of Assyria besieged Jerusalem. Hezekiah and Isaiah sought the Lord’s deliverance. It came, but not without the test of their faith.

We find ourselves confronted with overwhelming challenges, even though we faithfully serve the Lord. Guess what? We are in good company.

PRAYER: Father, the way you delivered Hezekiah, I will look to You for a similar deliverance. Regardless of the appearance of my opposition, I will wait and trust.
