Your Life Remembered

As we read the accounts of the lives of the kings of Israel and Judah, we gain the essence of their rule’s impact, whether it was good or bad. They either followed God’s ways and laws like King David, or they followed idolatry or their own path. Generally, they were rewarded for their obedience or punished for their sin for all to see.

God’s marvelous mercy usually bales us out of receiving the full penalty of our errant ways, but make no mistake – lives lived for God will be remembered fondly.

“So give to Jesus all your days. It’s the only life that pays, when you recall, you have but one life.”

PRAYER: Let my life and prayer be set before You as incense. Lord, I want to be a sweet smelling aroma to You.
