Celebration

The rebuilding of God’s temple in the city of Jerusalem after the exile was cause for great celebration. The temple was a focal indicator of God’s renewed presence in the land, and a miracle of turnabout since the Babylonian rulers actually ordered and paid for its reconstruction. Only God could have orchestrated this great miracle.

Since WE are the temple of the Holy Spirit, it is great cause for celebration when errant worshipers come back to their spiritual roots. Restoration is cause for celebration. Ministers of Reconciliation is the term Paul uses to identify our job to facilitate revival in those who have lost their spiritual way.

PRAYER: Lord, give us eyes to see and hearts to discern who around us is in need of a fresh touch of Your Spirit so that You can again begin building Your Kingdom in their hearts.
