Suffering is part of life and the authors of the Psalms address the issue to help the Christian. They provide prayers to pray, songs to sing, and a necessary empathy for one who is struggling.

Paul declares that we know the Lord more fully when we understand the fellowship of his sufferings.

David said God sustains us, protects us, and lifts us during our suffering.

We all experience it at one time or another.

PRAYER: Father in heaven, we trust you in the suffering periods of life’s journey. Bring us through to complete victory.
