At an early age David discovered the spiritual power of praising the Lord. As he sang and accompanied himself with the harp he would sense the strength of God coming over him so that he could “Break a bow of steel with his arms.” He saw the importance of praise on a daily basis. Hence, he declared that he would find a place for God in his heart through praise every day. [Ps. 134:2-5]

We are wise to practice the continual presence of God through prayer and praise.

“Pray without ceasing.”
