In scripture, cities have identities like people. God certainly indicates his focus upon them by sending evangelists to them … Jonah to Ninevah … and having books of the Bible written to them … Colosse, Philippi, Ephesus etc.

Obviously, Jerusalem is the city to get the most attention.

We are to pray for Jerusalem. We can pray and strategize how to evangelize cities. We are to pray for the peace of whatever city we find ourselves living in.
