God instructed Hosea to marry a promiscuous woman named Gomer. Among the many lessons we derive from this book and this relationship is that God loves people even though they are unfaithful to him.

In that “All have sinned and come short of God’s glory,” we see the broad category of unfaithfulness His creation has dealt to Him. You and I have failed the Lord countless times, yet His unconditional love continues to shine our way. That love came to us in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Who else and for what other reason than perfect love could anyone offer cleansing for all sin for just the confessing and asking?
