Paul describes the hardships of being a leader in 2 Cor. 4. He makes it clear that the authority and responsibility he carries is accompanied by great trial, yet for a reason. In every challenge he faces, Christ is WITH him to enable him to overcome the obstacles. The victory is greater, the example to less mature believers is stronger, and the journey is more compelling.

Parents, leaders, elders … you are NOT ALONE in your trial. Remember that, “I can do all things through Christ which (Who) strengthens me.” [Phil. 4:13]
