In the Revelation of Jesus Christ, John heard Jesus say that He has control of death and hell because He holds their keys. It is appointed unto men to die once and then go on to judgement. Christ is in control of death and those who are already dead.

Why so many people won’t trust Christ and turn their life over to Him is a mystery. He conquered death and hell and led the captives with Him. We are wise to live IN CHRIST for the rest of our earthly lives. He controls our destiny, not us.

PRAYER: Lord, I continue to place my life in Your capable hands. Reveal Yourself to those who resist You and draw them by Your Spirit to become members of Your great family.
