The Psalmist declared that possessing God’s commands and living by them was of greater value than to own much fine gold. He helps us adjust the value system by which we live. Too often we place our security upon the wealth we have accumulated rather than building our lives upon Christ”s teachings.

Matthew quoted Jesus as saying that a wise man builds his life upon God’s commands which will weather any storm and survive any earthquake.

My retirement security picture is solid not because I have a few dollars invested or  because of Social Security … It’s because I have established my life and future upon a life that honors God and lives by His Word.
