Moses prayed, “(Lord) teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom. [Ps. 90:12] In effect, he is identifying the quest for wisdom as a worthy lifetime goal.

If God’s wisdom (Jesus) is the core of every aspect of our mind, will, and emotions, we will have established our lives on the Rock, Christ Jesus, and His teachings. The Lord’s promise is that when the storms of life come, we will stand and endure successfully.

Parents, pay attention to heart development in your children. It’s much more important than what they wear, what sport they play, how well they do in math etc. A heart for God will be your greatest joy in their latter years. I guarantee it!
