If you fear the Lord, you don’t have to fear anything else.

The last verse in Proverbs 1 says, “But whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.”

It’s an awful thing to live in fear. Fear has torment. “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Tim. 1:7

Christians don’t have to fear the future. They can rest in the Lord and be confident that He will give them everything they need to be an overcomer in this life.
