Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom, and with all thy getting, get understanding.. Wisdom has been defined as “Insight into the true nature of things.” Understanding is the application of wisdom to life.

Christ Jesus IS God’s Wisdom to us. [1 Cor. 1:24] He was the epitome and expression of God’s Wisdom. Whenever you read wisdom in Proverbs, just insert “Jesus” and it will clarify.

The expression, “What would Jesus do?” is a good one. It can be our prayer to navigate life’s challenges.
