A Greek woman came to Jesus and impressed Him with her forthrightness … she wanted her daughter to be freed from the possession of a demon spirit. Although the daughter was not there, present, Jesus told the woman to go home and find her daughter completely delivered.  His authority over the spiritual realm transcended distance and proximity. He likewise exercised authority over the multitude of demons in the crazy man at Gadara. They were completely subject to His command.

Through discernment, we can speak with Christ’s authority and exercise this same power. It’s the same Jesus. People still need to be freed from demonic possession and hindrance.
