The Israelites experienced a significant victory at Rephadim where they conquered the Amalekites at the base of the mountain where Aaron and Hur lifted up Moses’ hands in faith towards God. News of this victory would echo across the Promised Land and strike fear in their enemies.

Interestingly, they had just provoked Moses with their complaining and backbiting. They did not have the eyes of faith to see their path to freedom and blessing because of their petty carnality,

In a Christian’s life, there are challenges and battles to fight, but they pale in comparison to the satisfaction and rewards available to those who “Fight the Good Fight of Faith.” 1 Tim. 6:12
