Within the law of Moses was a high standard of cleanliness. God’s people were instructed to avoid things that would defile them … such as touching a dead animal. These laws and precepts were written for their good and their hygiene.

It’s been said, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”

Actually, “Cleanliness IS GODLINESS.”
