“Unclean” was a determination made by the priests when a person had violated God’s standards of hygiene or purification. There was always a path to being restored and made clean again.

Although the law contained supernatural insight into health and hygiene, the Christian always makes a path to Jesus for their cleansing.

What can wash away my sin? NOTHING but the blood of Jesus.
