Moses, God’s servant, was dead. Joshua was now the leader of God’s people as they entered The Promised Land. There was a holy carry-over in leadership anointing … God said, “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you.”

There wasn’t really any let-down in leadership effectiveness when Joshua took the controls. This was, no doubt, a relief to God’s children as they took steps into a new opportunity placed before them.

When we take steps into new ventures for God, we are assured of this same powerful leading and empowering. As we take each step, we too are given the land upon which our feet stand. God is faithful and will never leave us nor forsake us.
