A book was written about this prayer. It should be an example to us of how to pray with faith.
Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” [1 Chron. 4:10]
And God granted his request.
This is a marvelous prayer and can be an example to us of how to pray for ourselves and our loved ones.
At this stage of our lives … Dean and Patty … we don’t want more property, especially is it is grass which has to be mowed. We do, however, humbly ask that we can have influence upon others for the sake of God’s Kingdom.
Amen.
