READ/HEAR: Ezek. 26,27

(I always read the scripture passages before I write)

God watched Tyre and sent it a damning message though Ezekiel. God watched Ninevah and sent it an evangelist named Jonah. God gave history and a spotty reputation to Jerusalem but sent a Redeemer.

Cities are population centers where people live. God loves people, so He watchfully hovers over cities to perform His will in them.

Jeremiah said, “Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” [Jer. 29:7]

Take up a prayer burden for the city you live in.
