READ/HEAR: Ezek. 29,30

The Jews would run to Egypt when they needed help instead of relying upon the Lord. This added to Egypt’s arrogance caused God to bring them down in humiliation. He exposed their weaknesses and caused Babylon to ride over them.

Beware of leaning upon the arm of flesh, no matter what form it takes. God wants to be our source for everything. We should look to His Word in prayer to get the answers we need.

Jesus said, “Apart from Me you can do nothing.”
