Clearly the disciples and followers of Jesus were looking for a king that would deliver them from Rome’s clutches. When He began to supernaturally reveal Himself to them after the crucifixion, They began to realize what was really going on.

It’s the same with us. We are only beginning to become aware that the deliverance from life-besetting sin through His blood sacrifice is the most important freedom we can receive.

I sang a song many years ago that says, “Believe Him, come unto Him, receive from His power. There’s life in Jesus’ name.”
