God remembers (no more)

Deut. 22-24

Participation privileges for Israelites were revoked for descendants of the Moabites and Ammonites and for others whose sinful practices were abhorrent to the Lord. They couldn’t worship with everyone else. They were marked “to the tenth generation.” If a sin is not blotted out, God sees it for eternity.

Then came Jesus. God knew we couldn’t survive without Him. The blood of Christ cleanses us from ALL sin and iniquity if we repent before Him and accept His Salvation from our sin. Apart from Christ, God still remembers. Through Christ, He FORGETS.

“Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” Isaiah 1:18

“I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” Jeremiah 31:34

“As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us” Psalm 103:12

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 Jn. 1:9
