Ezekiel 23

Jerusalem was likened to a prostitute who chased after lovers. This broke God’s heart and caused Him to create animosity between her lovers and herself.

Lust will do that. When it has its way, it doesn’t create satisfaction … only grief.

 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.  Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. [James 1:14, 15]
