Luke 23

Christ Jesus suffered greatly when He was arrested and accused in Jerusalem. Neither Pilate nor Herod could find any guilt in Him, yet the will of the people (the vocal ones) prevailed, and He was crucified. He forgave them all.

Christ is the ultimate example to all of us of Godliness. He taught us to pray, “Forgive us our sins AS we forgive those who sin against us.” Every time I pray that line, I check my mental screen to see who pops up. I choose to forgive, regardless.

When we forgive and put all retribution into God’s Hands, we are demonstrating meekness like Christ did. We all know that God exalted Jesus to the Highest Place.
