Lev. 12,14 [The Message]

Gleaning usable information from the Law of Moses can be a challenge. My recent two-month bout with Pseudo Gout has given me a keen eye for healing insights. Upon listening to the above chapters of Leviticus, I deduced that the body seems to need a 7 day period to heal itself. Christ Jesus has fulfilled any need of sacrificial offerings to be made, but a week of quarantine and appropriate medicine can do wonders for our body.

Interesting, my steroid prescription lasts … yup, 7 days. It is designed to give the body the healing boost it needs and allow it to begin producing its own steroidal hormones to promote natural healing. I’m not a doctor! But, I am learning to try to be better to my body by heeding healthful advice.

God’s Word promotes healing, and it ALWAYS points to Jesus.
