Joshua 11-14 [The Message]

31 kings and their kingdoms were eliminated from the Promised Land when Joshua and the Hebrews marched into the Land. The conquest was TOTAL … there were no survivors left. Cities were burned and the plunder taken. It was a gruesome scene, confusing to many contemporary critics of the Bible and Christianity.

Consider this: it was conquer or be conquered. The Christian must realize that God does not want to share us with the gods of this world. This is why we must agree to fight the good fight of faith which is to eliminate all doubt and unbelief. God wants ALL of us. We can’t let sin and disobedience get a foothold in our lives.

The blessing of a life of conquest leads to the deliverance of others. Our families can enter a life of rightstanding with God because of our conquests.
