Gen. 13

Because he feared for his life, Abraham told Pharaoh that Sarah was his sister. He knew Pharaoh would want her because of her beauty and maybe eliminate Abraham to have her for himself. Abraham did not account for God’s protection because the Lord put plagues upon Pharaoh for trying to take another man’s wife.

Several things here:

• God will protect your marriage
• Honesty is the best policy
• Even your enemy can get the message … just stay on your knees and trust God
