Ps. 71
Yes, even when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not, [but keep me alive] until I have declared Your mighty strength to [this] generation, and Your might and power to all that are to come.
I’m not that gray, but I am old. The older I get, the more I ask myself, “What do I live for?” The Psalmist found putpose in being able to faithfully declare the goodness of God to the coming generation.
I plan to do that next week when I am on vacation with my entire family in Minnesota.
