Doeg, the Edomite, was King David’s enemy. He had disclosed David’s location to King Saul, who was trying to kill him. In this Psalm, David really goes off on Doeg..

Everyone in life doesn’t love you as much as your mother does. (Surprise)

You don’t need to curse them ike David did. But yes, you PRAY!

Ps. 107

I remember “testimony” times in church services years ago. The pastor would call for the saints to share what God had done for them. Oh, yes, there were the regulars who seemed to always give a low-yield account of petty happenings in their lives … and then someone would dig deep and bring everybody to tears and shouting at a true miracle God had graciously given.

It’s so spiritually healthy for the saints to recount what God has done for them.

Ps. 106

Many times the Lord saved Israel from their tragic circumstances not because they deserved it. He did it fir the reputation of His name.

We often fail the Lord, but His mercy never runs out on His children. “His mercy endureth forever.”

Ps. 105

Joseph’s life closely paralleled the life of Christ; rejected by his brothers, falsely accused, misunderstood and mistreated. Yet he became a great deliverer for his people and interceded on their behalf before Pharoah.

You may not understand the hardships in your journey. Like Christ and Joseph, commit your way to God and hold on for the ride. Trust Him. He can accomplish great things for His Kingdom through YOU.

Ps. 104

No wonder Israel doesn’t fear Iran. God can defend her, despite the bankrupt spiritual condition of most contemporary Jews. God can neutralize the armies of nations and aggressive leaders easily. ” Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” [Ps. 33:12]

In the Old Testament it was horses and chariots. Now, it’s tanks and missiles. It makes no difference to the Lord . He still rules it all.

Ps. 104

Without breath, you can’t live. It’s the vital element common to every living person. It’s possibly one of God’s greatest gifts, yet so often taken for granted.

If you can stop and appreciate yours, use a few of them to praise and thank the Lord and acknowledge this essential and marvelous gift.

Ps. 103

“Forget NOT all His benefits.”

God has been SO GOOD to us. Im sure He doesn’t mind us specifically showing our gratitude for all He’s done. It’s actually a revelation when we become more aware of how blessed we are.

One of the greatest blessings is the wonderful family members we have in our natural family AND the Body of Christ. Take time to express your appreciation to them.

Ps. 101

God wants us to have a blameless walk. Is it possible? Yes. It can’t be done with sheer determination alone. We MUST have God’s help … which is His GRACE.

To me, this verse is the best description of His grace … “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” [Phil. 2:13]

Ps. 98

“Come before His presence with singing.” He could have said, “Bring gold,” or ” Enter My gates with a handstand.” But no .. He loves singing and instruments.

Music is important for corporate worship but should also be considered for private devotions. Try singing the Psalms. They were meant for it. Sing your own spontaneous melody to the Lord. He loves it and wants it.

Ps.  94

If you think God isn’t aware of ALL of your activities, you are deceived. His oversight has “saved my bacon” many a time.

He created the ear and He created the eye. It seems the older I get, these two body items start to fail … and yet they are more sensitive than ever to hear and see what is TRULY happening. It’s the wisdom of old age. It helps me pray more effectively.
