Ps. 27
God’s face is His approval. His eyes guide. His ears hear our prayer. His hand provides. His arm is His military might.
He has it all.
Ps. 27
God’s face is His approval. His eyes guide. His ears hear our prayer. His hand provides. His arm is His military might.
He has it all.
Ps. 26
Of all the available motivations of life, CHOOSE INTEGRITT.
The benefits may not immediately be exposed, but God’s Word says your steps will not slide.
As I get older, one of my greatest enemies is falling. So, sliding steps can easily result in a fall. Integrity is insurance against falling, figuratively.
Psalm 23
Think about it … what do you REALLY need that you don’t already have. You probably have a comfortable place to live, a vehicle, clothes in your closet, and food in the fridge. Most of us live with abundance.
We owe it all to the Lord. Our gratitude is usually all He asks.
Go ahead, say “Thank You, Jesus.” In fact, say it all day long!
Ps. 19
The Psalmist said, “May the Word’s of my mouth and the meditation of my heart (thoughtlife) be acceptable on Thy sight.”
Every thought and every word can either be acceptable or un-acceptable. Ask God for the grace and strength to please Him with all words and thoughts.
“Blessed are the pure of heart. They shall see God.” [Matt. 5:8]
This has long been one of my favorite Bible passages. It is instruction on holy living. Worship is a lifestyle, not an event.
A worshipper bows to the Lord in every area of their life.
Please read this passage and let God’s Holy Spirit draw you into this lifestyle.
Ps. 11
He lifts the needy but rejects the proud and arrogant. He’s always pulling for the underdog. It’s His nature.
Jesus was our example of humility and character.
WWJD? “What would Jesus do?”
Psalm 1
We are to meditate on God’s Word day and night. We are to pray day and night.
God’s Word and prayer … this is our life until HE COMES BACK.
Job 42
Life is a journey to prepare us for our end. Some make the mistake of “living for the moment” rather than considering the consequences of their sin.
Job endured almost more than a person can take, yet without sin. His wife said, “Curse God and die.” Job,however, knew that he wanted to see the approving face of hus Redeemer at the end. He continued to walk in integrity. His latter end ON EARTH was even more blessed than his beginning.
Endure the tough times. It will be more than worth it.
Job 41
Everything under heaven belongs to God. He retains ownership but gives us the opportunity to be stewards of it.
The more you think you have, the greater the responsibility to be a good steward.
Rewards will be doled out according to the faithfulness of our stewardship.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
Job 38
God is the Author of order. He has established laws for everything, including the heavens. When we look up into a starlight night sky, we don’t see chaos or disarray. We see order.
Men bring disorder … God brings order.
One half of our garage (my wife’s half) has order. My half, not so much.
