I always tease my wife about our home decorations and furniture. She seems to only be concerned with how a piece looks rather than how it functions. For me, function is the main criteria.  We have fun.

With God, the furniture of the tabernacle combined both … function and beauty. He prescribed to Moses how each item was to be placed, how it was to be made, and the materials with which to make it. He had a plan.

Today, God’s house is His people. We have both function and beauty. One may be more obvious  than the other, but HE HAS A PLAN. Trust Him with your life. He will fit you in.
