You will be wildly successful.” In truth, a lying seducing spirit had entered them to give Ahab disastrous advice that eventually led to he death.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits (test, prove, carefully weigh and examine) whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. [1 Jn. 4:1]
